Need Want & Desire

Many of us read it as a simple three words with meanings close to each other. Many of us might be using it as an alternative option to each other. These three words are closely knitted to each other, defines the quality of life, contentment, satisfaction and goals of life.

I am writing this to define my take on the subject or just will like to hear your take on it. Need is what we actually require to survive (the basics , the bare minimum). “Want” covers “Need” and you can say its the super set in a venn- diagram and desire is basically the rest everything you can think off. So Desire is limitless and can never be attained.

Logically the ideal case for sage and enlightened soul is Need=want=desire . If they are considered satisfied and content and bliss we can conclude simply to have a life of Raja-Rishi. Be a king but live and behave like a Rishi
